A customer was looking for a stained glass window to block the view on the neighbors driveway.

Since they live in a picturesque town in the middle of Niagara's grape region, we decided to go with grapes

The 1st 2 panels from the lamp are ready

First, a drawing is made, in this case we used our Glass Eye 2000 software for it.

next we used the software to give it color.

as third step, the real-size pattern is made and the glass cut according to it, and the joints are all soldered on both sides of the panel.

than the putty will be applied and the panel will be cleaned.

when using glass that will not show the patterns trough the glass very well you can always trace the lines with a medium size marker

This is a rendered pattern that a customer picked out of a book. it's redrawn and adjust to the size of their front door.

when the customers did see it, they ordered right away the 2nd matching panel.

With special patina for zinc, the frame is stained dark

With a regular patina, the solder lines are stained dark
